THE FANTASTIC 8 (when they pass me the ball)

Solid performances set thtone for victory number two!

• Final Result: Keywords Hunters – BPL 7-5

• With only 8 players (previous matches were with 11 and 12 players), the team managed to show stability and that reflected in solid performances on the pitch

• The game started 1-0 for the Hunters, with a powerful shot from Artur, but the opponents soon equalized. The same happened again for the 2-2, until two lapses of concentration from our defense allowed BPL to make it 2-4

• But this was the turning point of the match. The Hunters held it together, and completely took over the match in the second half. Little by little, the match went to the other side of the pitch, until a 5-5 was reached, with an own goal from their defender

• After this, there was only one team on the pitch, and Márcio and Tiago sentenced the affair with two opportunistic goals, making it the final 7-5

• Special mention to all the adversities, with Artur injured and barely walking (but playing the whole match), Márcio always on the floor and the referee shouting at him for diving (not true!!) and Carlos colliding heads with opponents and almost getting unconscious

• Overall, a great team performance, with Matthew coming from a shaky start in the goal to save the team in the last moments of pressure, Tiago being dominant all over, Renan working as pivot between attack and defense, Tomasz solid in the back and Conor filling the gaps wherever needed

• A side note to the team’s new strategy, organized prior to the match. “Pass the ball to Márcio!!” was heard all the time, and even thou it wasn’t like that on the pitch 100 % of the time, it helped the team to have something to laugh about and be more confident and relaxed on the ball
