The end of January was full of basketball, as we played first ever match in Loughlinstown Leisure centre on 20th of January. Marcos team - Daniel's team 2 -1 We played three matches. First won by Daniel's team 21-15. But next 2 matches were won by Marcos team.
Lineups Marcos team: PG Samuel SF Sam C Artur SG Marcos SF Jose Daniel's team: C Alex PF Yanis SF Paul PG Daniel SG Lenaic... It was a great experience, and come back to basketball after loooong time for some people. It was really good game, and therefore we were looking for more next week.
12th match of the masterleague season was also the firstKeywords football happening in New 2016 year. It was decent and very close match, but Matthew team secured a draw in last seconds of the match. Happier team was, Matthew's as they were loosing for most time of the game. But they were determined and succeded in the end of the game. What's worth too mention is Marcos comeback after long injury, Marcio's return to the pitch after being away in Romania, and 3 goals of Adam, and Alexis and Artur's doubles. Masterleague looks very interesting. Only 8 matches left to the end of the season. Marcos is still leading but Matthew is super close, only 2.25 points behind. Fight for the 3rd place is amazing. Between David, Marcio, Tiago, Samir and Artur is only 2.5 points difference. Best master league scorer is Marcos with 27 goals, Samir has 25 and Artur 24. Best scorer including the league. Artur is first with 41 goals, Marcos second with 33 and Samir third with 27.
The second basketball match was played on 27 of January and it was aggresive... Artur, Marcio, Paul, Samuel, Alex, Marek, Daniel vs Jose, Marcos, Yanis, Ruben, Lenaic, Alfa, and the overall score was 3-0 for Jose's team who dominated in all three games, In Artur's team, best player was a Polish fella from Alchemic Dreams, Marek. In the winning team everyone was playing on balanced high level :)
