2015 was great but Hunters want more!

Keywords Hunters are going to their roots in 2016

2015 was a great year for Keywords Hunters. We achieved our “goals”. We were participating “successfully” in the league. We shared moments of happiness, despair, tragedy but also a taste of the victory, small bit ;)

2015 was also a year of hard work, but after all we could enjoy a moments of entertainment, to remind only, Keywords Hunters historical league debut, Foosball tournament 2 won by Ugo Leonardi & David Cuenca or Tough Mudder experience…

Another Christmas are behind us, and 2016 an Olympic year, is the year of new challenges for all of us. I wish to all of You to succeed in your life plans!

Meanwhile Keywords Hunters are going to continue what has been started. Master League, Possible company League 2nd encounter. But also we want to go to the roots, so back to 2011 when Ratchet & Clank team played basketball match… outside the office.

This time we want to go for real, and play Indoor on normal size court with … 2 baskets ;)

So, the first introducing match we are planning, will be happening 19, 20 or 21 of January.

I have to book the arena at least a week before, so I need to know who is playing or if we have enough people. Booking an indoor place in Ireland is not an easy job... 6 euro is the price per person.

We are looking for new players (constantly) so if ANYONE is interested (fottball, basketball, waterpolo, ice hockey)

Of course we wouldn’t be ourselves if we don’t m(ess)ake some rules So here we go…

• Teams will be set in advance but players can be swapped after a game if teams are not balanced

• We will reserve 5-10 minutes for a quick Warm-Up in teams

• Games will be played to 21 with a quick water break afterwards

• Scoring:

• Regular scoring (2s + 3s)

• There will be no Free Throws –

• In case of a shooting foul the fouled player will get 1 point for his team and the team get one more possession to score

If another shooting foul occurs during the second possession the team will get 1 point again, but the defense will keep the ball

If a player fouled while shooting and still makes the basket, the basket counts and 1 additional point for the foul added (And-1) and the defense get possession

• Fouls:

• Fouls can be called by the Defense or Offense (Please be fair!)

• Shooting Fouls: See above

• Non-Shooting Foul: Offense keeps the ball

• Offensive Fouls: Defense retains possessions

The area of fouls can be very difficult in basketball, but from experience will work itself out quite nicely during the games.

• Trash Talk: A huge part of basketball, so highly encourage (keep it clean and basketball related though ;) )
